Emma Powell
Creative Director Emma is a director and designer with over 10 years of experience designing for theatre and film, focusing on puppetry. Her work continues to tour internationally, and she is a guest lecturer at several universities. Emma is motivated by the power of world-building to transport people, communicate ideas and initiate conversations. With a background in both arts and engineering, Emma loves steering projects to bring together the best of what both worlds can offer and create momentous artworks. |
Robert Nixdorf
Director of Robotics Robert Nixdorf is a roboticist and software developer who has years of experience in fabricating and delivering large scale interactive installations for public events. He has developed novel soft robotic actuators and manufacturing methods and helped apply these in soft robotic installations. |
Richard Sewell
Director of Pneumatics Richard is a roboticist and interaction designer with an enduring interest in the emotional power of movement and in the relationships that people form with machines. His background includes a number of small but energetic technology companies and a lot of experiments with unusual structures and methods of actuation. |

Executive Producer Jazlyn has over 12 years of experience as a creative producer specialising in inclusion, equity in design, and complex project management. From managing national and international projects across artistic disciplines, Jazlyn’s work always holds a connecting thread of bringing all narratives into the creative process. |
